Steven Wright wraps up summer tour
Steven Wright wrapped up his 6-month-long tour last month, so Steven Wright tickets are nonexistent for the moment.
If you missed the show, you can still visit his official website to view clips of his stand-up comedy routine or even listen to two of his songs: “Run to You (So Goes)” and “You are Gone.”
Wright was touring in continued support of his 2007 album “I Still Have a Pony,” which was the 20-year follow-up to his 1987 release “I Have a Pony.”
Here’s a few of Wrights jokes as told in the New York Post’s 2007 article on the follow-up album:
“When I was a kid, we had a quicksand box in the back yard. I was an only child …eventually.”
“I had a dream that midgets were trying to assassinate me, so I bought a bullet-proof car. But since they were midgets, I bought a convertible.”
“You think when they asked George Washington for his ID, he just took out a quarter?”
